Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday 27 November 2026, with Cyber Monday on Monday 30 November 2026; in 2027 they fall on 26 and 29 November. Black Friday is now Australia's biggest ecommerce event, having overtaken Boxing Day for online sales — and the deal window keeps stretching earlier, with most major retailers now running "Black November" promotions from mid-month.

EOFY (End of Financial Year) sales peak in mid-to-late June every year, ahead of the Australian financial year ending on 30 June. EOFY is Australia's unique mid-year mega event: the tax-deduction angle makes it especially strong for B2B purchases, tech, office equipment and anything a business can write off before 30 June.

The next Afterpay Day runs 13–16 August 2026, a four-day event across fashion, beauty, homewares and tech. Afterpay Day runs twice a year — March and August — in both Australia and New Zealand.

Click Frenzy runs several times a year, with the flagship Main Event confirmed for 27–30 October 2026 — earlier than in previous years, now landing before Halloween rather than mid-November. With the Main Event moved to late October, it sits further ahead of Black Friday than before, giving Australian shoppers a longer run-up to the November/December peak.

Amazon Prime Day Australia 2026 runs for seven full days, from 12:00am AEST on Tuesday 7 July to 11:59pm AEST on Monday 13 July 2026 — a longer window than the four-day event held in the US, UK and Canada in June. The 2027 AU dates have not yet been announced.

The Amazon Australia Big Smile Sale is Amazon AU's own local event, separate from Prime Day. The 2026 edition ran for seven days, from midday on Monday 16 March to midnight on Sunday 22 March. It typically lands in March, ahead of EOFY and Prime Day.

Vogue Online Shopping Night (VOSN) runs twice a year. The confirmed spring 2026 event runs from midday Thursday 25 September to midday Sunday 28 September, covering fashion, beauty, tech and lifestyle brands at exclusive discounts. A second (typically April) event also runs annually.

The Asian "double-day" calendar is gaining Australian adoption: Singles' Day (11.11 — Wednesday 11 November 2026) is the most established, while 10.10 (Saturday 10 October 2026) is appearing among fashion and beauty retailers — now landing just after Click Frenzy's Main Event given its new late-October date.
